LBS Bina Group Bhd reported a 9.9% rise in quarterly revenue to RM340.5 million while profit after tax and minority interests climbed to RM15.1 million in the three months ended 30 June 2026.

Market Impact

Property development contributed RM293.1 million to revenue and RM30.4 million to profit before tax during the quarter, driven by projects reaching completion or near completion, according to the filing.

Construction and trading revenue jumped 439.4% to RM41.3 million from RM7.7 million a year earlier, mainly from a foreign subsidiary.

For the six months to 30 June 2026, LBS recorded revenue of RM637.0 million and PATMI of RM32.1 million, supported by progress at LBS Alam Perdana, KITA @ Cybersouth in Selangor and Centrum Iris in Cameron Highlands.

Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ir. (Dr.) Lim Hock San, Group Executive Chairman, said the company is pacing launches to match demand and pricing power after geopolitical risks and cost pressures kept buyers cautious.

“We remain disciplined in launch planning and will not bring projects to market solely to meet predetermined timelines,” he said.

The group ended the quarter with RM591.2 million in cash, deposits and bank balances. Net assets per share stood at RM1.10 and net gearing at about 0.35 times, giving LBS financial flexibility to support its development pipeline.

In July 2026, LBS completed the third tranche of its ASEAN Social SRI Sukuk Wakalah programme, raising RM150.0 million for seven years under a RM750.0 million programme.

Unbilled sales stood at RM1.06 billion as at 31 July 2026, providing revenue visibility for coming years.

Preparations for the Kwasa Damansara project are on track and expected to act as a long-term growth catalyst once launched.

The board declared a first interim single-tier dividend of 0.85 sen per ordinary share for the year ending 31 December 2026, payable on 19 November 2026.
