The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) will stage its Thailand Focus 2026 event from Aug 26-28 in Bangkok, bringing together 78 Thai listed companies with global fund managers.

SET president Asadej Kongsiri said the exchange has held roadshows across key investment hubs in 2025 to brief investors on Thai market potential ahead of the flagship forum. “This year’s Thailand Focus is considered a flagship event that welcomes institutional investors worldwide,” he said. The three-day forum includes companies from both the SET main board and the Market for Alternative Investments (MAI).

Sixteen companies from the SET’s JUMP+ programme will outline three-year plans on operations, governance and greenhouse-gas management. The event will also host a regional panel with senior executives from six ASEAN exchanges—Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand—to discuss capital-market integration.

Thailand’s equity market has gained 29.6% since January, ranking fourth globally, according to SET data. Asadej cited sustained foreign inflows, upgraded credit ratings and pro-growth policies as drivers of confidence. “The Thai business sector remains fundamentally strong with resilience and adaptability,” he said.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas will deliver the keynote on Aug 26, flanked by the energy minister and business leaders. The forum is supported by CLSA Securities (Thailand), DBS Vickers Securities (Thailand), Kiatnakin Phatra PCL, BofA Securities and UBS Securities (Thailand).

Live coverage of the opening day will be streamed on SET Thailand’s Facebook, YouTube and website from 9.30 am to 4 pm.
