Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and XRP all posted gains in September, prompting analysts to lift their price targets for the final days of the month.

Market Impact

The higher forecasts – Bitcoin near USD 87,000, Ethereum at USD 2,900, Solana at USD 130 and XRP at USD 1.70 – hinge on each cryptocurrency breaking through nearby resistance levels, analysts said. The total crypto market capitalisation rose from roughly USD 2.62 trillion on 1 September to USD 2.87 trillion, underscoring the broad‑based rally.

Bitcoin has climbed about 7.4 percent this month and was trading near USD 84,900, up roughly 0.9 percent over the previous 24 hours. Analyst Philakone noted that the price remains above its 50‑day and 200‑day simple moving averages and placed resistance at USD 87,385. Martini Guy identified USD 85,000 as a level Bitcoin must retake before moving toward the USD 87,000 target.

Spot Bitcoin exchange‑traded funds in the United States attracted about USD 2.39 billion in net inflows for the week ending 25 September, according to SoSoValue’s ETF data. While fund inflows signal demand, they do not guarantee further price appreciation. Traders are watching resistance in the USD 85,900‑86,000 band; a break below USD 84,000 could shift focus to the USD 82,000‑83,500 area.

Ethereum has risen roughly 9.3 percent in September and was priced near USD 2,700 on CoinMarketCap, still below the key resistance zones identified by analysts. Alex Marzell pointed to USD 2,900 as a possible target, citing a concentration of trading interest at that level, while Daan Crypto highlighted USD 2,800 as the nearer obstacle. A sustained move above USD 2,800 would be needed for the higher target to become realistic, Marzell said.

The USD 2,900 figure remains a forecast rather than a month‑end closing price.

Solana traded near USD 122 after a 1.2 percent intraday rise. Alaoui Capital said a breakout from a period of sideways trading could push SOL toward USD 130, noting demand from Solana investment funds as a supporting factor. Apex Gotu identified the USD 125‑130 range as the next area to watch, adding that SOL must clear USD 125 before testing the upper end of that band.

Both analysts stressed that fund demand figures and chart targets reflect their assessments and do not determine where Solana will close on 30 September.

XRP has gained about 7.9 percent over the past month. Analyst Diana said the token recovered after an earlier rejection near USD 1.61 and that a break above that level could open a path toward USD 1.70. The target remains conditional on XRP clearing the resistance at USD 1.61. ETF inflows provide another gauge of interest in XRP, but price action will decide whether buyers can sustain the recovery.

The final trading days of September also coincide with a scheduled U.S. economic release. The Bureau of Economic Analysis will publish August personal income and outlays data, including the personal consumption expenditures price index, on 30 September.
