MPP Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia launched Musa’adahforStudent, a welfare initiative for B40 undergraduates facing higher living costs.

The programme distributes over 100 basic food packs—rice, eggs, biscuits, instant noodles and kitchen items—coordinated with Yayasan Perkasa Siswa and Pusat Wakaf dan Zakat USIM, said Nur Naimi Qaisara Mohd Norafizan, programme director. Deliveries are made to recipients’ rooms or homes.

“This programme lets us engage directly with students and understand their needs,” she said. The initiative also supports the holistic graduate model GIINA by involving students in volunteering and campus community welfare.

MPP is gathering feedback to refine Musa’adahforStudent and expand its reach. Survey responses show recipients find the assistance useful and want it extended, while suggestions for improvement are under review.
