Malaysian actor Fikry Ibrahim has confirmed that his marriage to Siti Khalizah Alihan ended in divorce 173 days ago, in April, according to an Instagram post he published on Monday.

Market Impact

The 32-year-old actor, whose legal name is Ahmad Fikry Ahmad Ibrahim, said he delayed the announcement to process the separation privately. "I chose to take a little time before sharing because there are matters better kept and gone through calmly," he wrote. "Not because I wanted to hide it, but because I needed space to gather strength and accept His decree."

Fikry declined to assign blame for the split. "No one needs to be blamed. There are journeys God allows us to travel together, and journeys that eventually lead us to different paths," he said. He prayed for his former wife's well-being and for his own peace and strength.

The couple married in a private ceremony in Jitra, Kedah on February 12 last year. Months later, Siti Khalizah filed for divorce at the Federal Territories Syariah Court in Kuala Lumpur, citing irreconcilable differences (tiada persefahaman). She withdrew the application in June, according to earlier reports.

Fikry, a former lawyer turned actor known for the drama series Melodi, closed his statement with a prayer for mutual protection, forgiveness, and better lives ahead. "May God guard each of us, forgive all shortcomings, and replace all that has passed with something better," he wrote.
