Police arrested three more men on Wednesday in connection with the August 22 road-blocking race on the Second Malaysia-Singapore Link (Linkedua), bringing the total held to eleven.

Kulai district police chief Assistant Commissioner Tan Seng Lee said the three suspects, aged 24 to 41, were detained around Kuala Lumpur and are being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. Johor police chief Datuk Ab Rahaman Arsad said the group allegedly shut the highway from kilometre 33 of the Senai Utara toll slip road to kilometre 31 near Johor Premium Outlet in order to stage the illegal race.

Videos of the incident, which went viral on social media, showed the men halting regular traffic to clear a path for the race.
