GTA Holdings Bhd has launched its initial public offering at 35 sen per share, aiming to raise RM71.75 million for expansion and working capital, according to The Edge Malaysia.

Market Impact

The Edge Malaysia said the IPO comprises a public issue of 205 million new shares and an offer for sale of 124 million existing shares. Based on the offer price, GTA is expected to have a market capitalisation of RM451.97 million upon listing on Bursa Malaysia’s ACE Market, the report added.

Of the RM71.75 million to be raised from the public issue, RM25 million, or 34.84 per cent, will fund a new operating facility, while RM10 million is earmarked to expand the group’s helicopter MRO activities in the Middle East, The Edge Malaysia reported.

Another RM5.9 million will go toward expanding MRO services for landing gear, wheels and brakes, and RM24.15 million will be allocated to working capital, with the remaining RM6.7 million covering listing expenses, the same source said.

The offer for sale of 124 million existing shares will raise RM43.4 million for the selling shareholders, The Edge Malaysia noted. Managing director Datuk Nonee Ashirin Mohammed Radzi is selling 43 million shares, reducing her stake to 39.57 per cent from 51 per cent before the IPO.

Ludev Capital will sell 61 million shares, leaving it with a 19.67 per cent stake, while Brands Connect is disposing of five million shares and non-independent non-executive director Syed Abdul Rahman Syed Mohamad is selling 15 million shares.

GTA, headquartered in Selangor, provides maintenance, repair and overhaul services for helicopters and fixed-wing engines and sells aviation equipment including new engines, engine modules and parts, The Edge Malaysia said.

For the financial year ended Feb 28, 2025, GTA reported net profit of RM40.45 million, up from RM36.61 million a year earlier, on revenue of RM331.78 million versus RM236.65 million, The Edge Malaysia reported. The IPO price values the company at about 11.18 times FY2025 earnings based on earnings per share of 3.13 sen.

For the two months ended April 30, 2026, GTA posted net profit of RM12.53 million on revenue of RM103.63 million, according to The Edge Malaysia.

Applications for the IPO will close at 5pm on Aug 26, with GTA scheduled to list on the ACE Market on Sept 8. Hong Leong Investment Bank Bhd is the principal adviser, sponsor, sole underwriter and sole placement agent for the issue, the report said.
