Body: Selangor, 2 9 June – MGB Berhad (“MGB” or the “Group”), a construction and property development solutions provider and subsidiary of LBS Bina Group Berhad, has declared a final single-tier dividend of 1.31 sen per share in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2025 (“FY2025”), bringing its total dividend for FY2025 to 2.57 sen per share.

The FY2025 dividend represents MGB’s second-highest dividend payout in the past four years and reflects the Group’s continued commitment to rewarding shareholders. Since FY2022, MGB’s dividend per share has increased more than five-fold from 0.50 sen to 2.57 sen, while its dividend payout ratio has risen from 20% to 30%, demonstrating the Group’s growing ability and willingness to return value to shareholders. The total FY2025 dividend translates into a payout ratio of 30%, in line with MGB’s dividend policy of distributing at least 30% of its annual profit attributable to shareholders.

Importantly, MGB has achieved this enhanced level of shareholder returns while maintaining a strong financial position. Based on the latest announced financial position as at 31 March 2026, the Group recorded a net asset per share of RM1.08 and a low net gearing ratio of just 0.12 times, providing ample financial flexibility to support ongoing project execution, pursue larger-scale opportunities and fund future growth initiatives.

The final dividend was approved by shareholders at the annual general meeting held on 19 June 2026 and will be paid on 5 August 2026 to shareholders whose names appear in the Record of Depositors on 15 July 2026. The dividend ex-date is 14 July 2026.

Commenting on the dividends and prospects, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ir. (Dr.) Lim Hock San, JP, Group Executive Chairman of MGB, said:

“MGB’s dividend track record over the past few financial years reflects our commitment to delivering sustainable value to shareholders. As MGB continues to pursue larger-scale opportunities both domestically and internationally, including projects in Saudi Arabia, it is important that we retain sufficient financial resources to support project execution, working capital requirements and future expansion.”

“MGB entered FY2026 with strengthened earnings visibility following the successful replenishment of its order book. During FY2025, the Group secured more than RM1.0 billion in new contracts, including approximately RM532.6 million worth of projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These contract wins not only strengthen the Group’s revenue visibility but also position MGB to participate in larger-scale opportunities across both domestic and international markets. As we move forward, we remain focused on executing our projects efficiently, enhancing operational performance and pursuing strategic opportunities that can strengthen earnings and support sustainable shareholder returns.”

With a strong balance sheet, growing order book and an expanding local and regional footprint, MGB is building a solid foundation for future growth, positioning the Group to capture larger projects, enhance earnings profile and deliver increasing value to shareholders over time.
