SEREMBAN, Aug 14 — Stability, progress and prosperity will underpin Negeri Sembilan’s new state administration to ensure development benefits all residents, Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim said on Thursday.

Speaking at the Negeri Sembilan Civil Servants Assembly and launch of the Negeri Sembilan 2026 Jalur Gemilang Flag Raising Ceremony in Seremban, Ismail said stability extends beyond political majority to include the constitutional monarchy and adat institutions that define the state’s identity.

“A developed state is measured not only by growth figures but by its ability to create opportunities, attract quality investments, generate high-value jobs and produce competitive human capital,” he said.

Ismail said the three pillars—stability, progress and prosperity—will guide economic growth, education, agriculture, housing, tourism and cultural preservation. All initiatives will be translated into measurable programmes with clear outcomes, supported by the state executive council.

The administration aims to enhance Negeri Sembilan’s competitiveness, expand youth opportunities, strengthen rural economies and preserve adat, culture and heritage as core identity markers.
