KUALA LUMPUR — Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s (TNB) EV charging unit, TNB Electron, has commissioned a 120kW direct-current (DC) fast charger at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Seri Austin, Johor Bahru, expanding its network beyond its largest site in Penang.

During an operational testing phase, TNB Electron is providing free EV charging for one day only at the new location. The complimentary service will be available on Saturday, 15 August 2026, from 12:00am to 11:59pm.
