Zeekr owners in Malaysia can now charge at any DC Handal station for RM1.20 per kWh under a new partnership with the charge-point operator.

The rate is discounted from the normal RM1.30 to RM1.50 per kWh charged at DC Handal sites. Owners must activate the offer within 24 hours through the ChargEV app after submitting an online form.

DC Handal said three additional locations will open soon. Two more Zeekr Power-branded chargers are also planned for the North South Expressway by the fourth quarter of 2026.

The new stations will be at PLUS Plaza Toll Sungkai in Perak and PLUS Plaza Toll Bukit Gambir in Johor. Both sites are scheduled to finish construction in Q4 2026.

Zeekr Malaysia said the expanded network is designed to give owners more confidence on long-distance routes. The collaboration covers all DC Handal chargers, not only the Zeekr Power-branded units.

Malaysia Impact

The discounted electricity rate of RM1.20 per kilowatt-hour at DC Handal chargers may support the growth of electric vehicle adoption in Malaysia, potentially having a positive effect on the local economy.
